Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Michelle Chromy / Expandwithmi (“the Travel Concierge”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Our registered business will be based in Switzerland. Until official registration, services are provided on a freelance basis under Swiss and international commercial principles.

By confirming a booking or accepting a quote, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Nature of Services

We act exclusively as an intermediary and organizer on behalf of our clients.
We coordinate and manage travel arrangements, bookings, and related experiences with third-party providers (e.g., hotels, airlines, yacht companies, local operators).
All contracts for travel, accommodation, or activities are concluded directly between you and the respective provider.
We are not liable for the execution, quality, or cancellation of third-party services.

3. Payments

All payments for third-party services (flights, hotels, transfers, activities, etc.) are made directly to the provider.
A separate invoice will be issued for our travel planning and concierge service.
Unless otherwise stated, full payment for our service is due upon confirmation of your itinerary.

We reserve the right to request a deposit (up to 50%) for larger or long-term projects.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel our service after confirmation but before any bookings are finalized, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service price applies.

Once all bookings have been made and confirmed, the full service fee is non-refundable, as our work and time have already been provided.

For third-party cancellations (e.g., airlines, hotels, operators), their respective terms and refund policies apply.
We can assist with the communication process but are not responsible for refunds issued by third parties.

5. Liability

We take great care in selecting trusted partners and ensuring smooth arrangements. However, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Changes, delays, or cancellations by third-party providers.

  • Losses, damages, injuries, or incidents occurring during travel.

  • Errors or omissions in information provided by external providers.

Travel insurance covering cancellation, health, and luggage is highly recommended.

6. Confidentiality & Communication

All personal data shared with us will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Communication primarily takes place via email and WhatsApp for convenience and transparency.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law, with jurisdiction in the Canton of Appenzell (Switzerland).
